Holding my Trauma Informed Masters of Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria, I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Prior to my private practice, I have enjoyed years of counselling children, youth, adults, and families through not for profit and government counselling centres.

I began my journey supporting others in 2006. This journey included support and advocacy work with at risk, in crisis, and street involved youth, adults with disabilities, folks with mental health and addiction challenges in supportive/transitional housing, and struggling university students.

While I am passionate about supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and interpersonal and family challenges, I also enjoy supporting clients through various other challenges as well.

Throughout my years of experience, I have seen that life often brings challenges, waves, and storms, and everyone struggles and needs support sometimes. I am skilled, but genuine, so my clients find me easy to talk to.

I am continually inspired by my clients' strength, courage, and abilities to heal and grow. It is an honor to support my clients through their processes.

More recently, welcoming Ella Bradley as a Shoreline Associate Counselling Therapist has brought me new joy and life energy. As her supervisor/mentor, I guide and encourage Ella. In turn, she encourages me to further reflect, learn, and grow as well. It lifts my sprits hearing about her clients opening up with her, healing, growing and appreciating her role in their lives.
